In order for the traffic of ships not to restrict car traffic too much, it is necessary to build, among others, navigation canal with a lock, swing bridges and a harbor Master's Office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The investment <strong> \"Construction of a waterway connecting the Vistula Spit dtch with the Bay of Gda\u0144sk - part I\"<\/strong> includes the construction of a protective port from the Gulf of Gda\u0144sk, construction of a navigation canal with a lock and construction of closures along with waiting stands from the Gulf of Gda\u0144sk and the Vistula Lagoon, a new road system with steel movable bridges with a vertical axis of rotation, which will enable passage over the canal in front of and behind the lock; construction of an artificial island located in the Vistula Spit ditch.
